A Basswood - On Pinewood.
This sculpture is 100 % Handmade Decoration.
Different wood carving techniques were applied with a cutting tool (knife) in one hand, a chisel - and one hand on a mallet, resulting in this wooden figure on a medium dimension:
(16X35 cm). Different other machinery used to smooth and sand the sculpture. (burrs - trimmer - router - jig- junior- circular- hand saw - mini lathe ...ect ).
3 stratum of sand blasting were applied after the micro- Carving (mini router).

Acrylic colors were used to varnish and give a Musical effect to the piece.

In general viewers can observe 3 elements in this Artwork.
- Ronde-Bosse = flat Base for balance to any flat surface.
- Title = small Description an name of this Artwork (for counterfeit reason)
- Body figurine = 2 Musical Notes, (B CLEF + 16 TH NOTE) 

From a Musical aspect these elements are meaning in French: clef 'key') is a musical symbol used to indicate which notes are represented by the lines and spaces on a musical stave.
In the other hand there is the 16th Note, or semiquaver is a note played for half the duration of an 8th (quaver), hence the names. It is the equivalent of the semifusa in mensural music notation.

From the wood carving aspect, The nature of the wood being carved limits the scope of the carver in that wood is not equally strong in all directions:
Since wood as a substance is an anisotropic material.
The direction in which wood is strongest is called (Grain cell).
Artist Needed to follow the procedures of carving his piece through the direction of this Grain. Viewers can see that the figurine is in a 130` degree.
That is the best (Mandatory direction of this carving).
In other words, can not be in other position rather than the carved one.
What makes this piece of Art beautiful is the gained challenge, to carve this piece of Basswood in a fragile Musical Note.
Basswood is hard to carve = in a micro- term sculpturing.

to man gender specifically - Artlovers - collectors - Decoration consumers.
This represents a category of Man whom are Having ( 2 HEARTS) in their chest (philogynysts). The counterpart of misogyny. - Antagonism or dislike to women !  Where the antonym of misogyny is philogyny, the love or fondness of women.
It is An original latin - Greek classical found word : Euripides.
